<p> Hotels & Meetings Associate (External Staffing Agency)<br /> The NFL Live Events team is responsible for the planning and execution of the league's tentpole events and International Games. The Associate position plays an integral role in supporting the Events team with the execution of all tentpole events and executive meetings with a focus on hotel management, meeting planning and execution.<br /> <br /> Responsibilities:<br /> • Manage the execution of 100+ hotel contracts for future Super Bowl and Draft bids.<br /> • Support the Super Bowl hotel assignment process by working closely with departments and partners assigning 20,000 rooms.<br /> • Manage the onboarding process through our supplier portal for all Super Bowl and Draft contracts.<br /> • Manage hotel reservations for 800+ attendees at all tentpole events which include Super Bowl, Pro Bowl, Combine, Draft, Flag Championships, Hall of Fame, Kickoff, International games and meetings.<br /> • Support operations at the Super Bowl headquarter hotel to include contract management, hotel reservations, meeting space logistics, food & beverage, signage, and vendor coordination.<br /> • Coordinate planning meetings across all tentpole events for current year and future. This entails sourcing hotels through our RFP platform and tracking proposals.<br /> • Lead effort for on-site event management for Owners Meetings and department meetings including room block management, client check-in, credential distribution, and registration.<br /> • Attend all planning meetings, as needed for current and future tentpole events and outline goals and objectives for each trip.<br /> • Work cross functionally with various internal departments on meetings throughout the year.<br /> • Work with finance team on budget reconciliation for all tentpole events and meetings.<br /> • Support the team in various capacities including contract management, updating the special events calendar and tracking budgets.<br /> Required Qualifications:<br /> • Bachelor's degree<br /> • 2+ years of hotel with a focus on room management and function room operations<br /> • Adept at contract negotiations and proven experience working with hotel contracts<br /> • Hotel and venue management with a focus on room block build/management, attrition mitigation, function room costing and management<br /> • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment<br /> • Ability to lead others and collaborate with a variety of groups at different levels<br /> • Strong organizational and presentation skills<br /> • Strong writing and communications skills<br /> • Proactive self-starter who works well within a team, strong interpersonal skills<br /> Other Key Attributes / Characteristics:<br /> • Experienced with hotel contracts, negotiating, and meeting planning<br /> • Experience with Meeting Evolution, Cvent or other event registration sites<br /> • Strong Microsoft excel and PowerPoint skills<br /> • C level/VIP management and service<br /> • Knowledge in RFP creation and process<br /> • Team player with positive attitude<br /> • High energy<br /> • Entrepreneurial spirit<br /> • Strong work ethic<br /> Salary / Pay Range<br /> This job posting contains a pay range, which represents the range of salaries or hourly rates that the NFL believes, in good faith, at the time of this posting that it might be willing to pay for the posted job in the location(s) specified. This could involve lifting, long hours of standing and physical movement during an event and extensive travel requirements.<br /> Travel:<br /> Significant domestic and international travel required, including some weekends, up to 50%.
