Work Environment:

You’ll be supporting a young professional in a private Southwest Las Vegas residence—with a young child and one dog. Your role is to help the household run smoothly: light cleaning (we have a bi-weekly house cleaner), organizing the house, errands, ordering supplies, and occasional dog-sitting.

Ideal Candidate:

You're a proactive, detail-loving problem solver who takes pride in keeping life organized and a house smoothly running. You enjoy caring for others, are comfortable around children and dogs, and thrive working independently.

Bonus points for anyone who loves to cook. A lot of your time will be spent cooking.

Also this job is great for quiet introverts who like being a part of a peaceful home.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Light cleaning & household upkeep (e.g., loading dishwasher, sweeping)
  • Cooking simple meals for lunch and prepping dinner
  • Doing laundry and putting it away
  • Dog nanny duties (rarely): feeding, walking, and occasional overnight stays or flexible care
  • Helping drop off 6 year old or do school pickups for school and occasionally watching him for a few hours for date night or while doing personal appointments
  • Running errands (mileage reimbursed at 67¢/mile)
  • Ordering groceries, medicine, household supplies (online or in-person)
  • Coordinating with vendors, contractors, etc.
  • Assisting with personal and professional tasks, including handling confidential items
  • Other tasks as needed—no two days are exactly the same!

Requirements:

  • Flexible availability during weekdays (work can be done between 10am–6PM, Monday–Friday)
  • Reliable, organized, and self-directed
  • Excellent communication and time-management skills
  • Able to lift up to 30 lbs
  • Valid driver's license and your own reliable car
  • Must pass a background check
  • Availability for occasional dog-sitting (overnight stays, dog hosting, or daily visits)
  • Available for occasional watching of a 6 year old (rare but sometimes needed) for a few hours
