Job Summary of In-Store Sales Assistant:

The role of a In-Store Sales Assistant involves responsibilities such as arranging merchandise, processing payments, and maintaining store cleanliness to create an inviting atmosphere. Responsibilities of In-Store Sales Assistant:

  • Necessary to complete job duties with or without accommodations.
  • Display consistent application of the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) as designated for the position.
  • Handles customer purchases, carries out cleaning tasks, replenishes shelves with inventory, and maintains orderly merchandise arrangements
  • Render exceptional support to customers, enhancing their overall shopping experience
  • Coordinate with team members and ensure transparent communication with the store management team
  • Submit a detailed assessment to management encompassing all products, inventory discrepancies, scanning inaccuracies, and operational hurdles
  • Engage in the task of conducting store inventory checks based on guidelines and maintaining accurate inventory records
  • Follows established cash procedures to reduce the occurrence of financial losses
  • Adheres to all prescribed company regulations and methods, preserving the confidentiality and protection of records and data

Physical Demands of In-Store Sales Assistant:

  • Ability to stock merchandise from store receiving to shelving; ability to place product, weighing up to 45 pounds, on shelving at various heights
  • Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry and walk about the store
