<strong>Job Description<br><br></strong>As part of our Quality team, good is never good enough. Ford Quality shares your passion for striving for perfection. We’re responsible for driving continuous improvement efforts that enable Ford to deliver the highest quality products and services. Work cross functionally and closely with integrated teams in Manufacturing, Product Development, Purchasing and Supplier Technical Assistant.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities<br><br></strong><strong>What you'll do...<br><br></strong><ul><li> Coordinate during quality concerns containment actions, dock holds, special checks to eliminate any impact to customer. </li><li> Prepare standard reports for Quality reviews within the plant and with other areas. </li><li> Review rejected parts for quality integrity and decide next steps. Issue daily Quality report. </li><li> Lead/Support resolution of quality concerns utilizing problem solving methods. (Six-Sigma, 3 legged 5 why, 8D’s etc.) </li><li> Support expedited concern resolution with cross functional teams including Machining, Production, Suppliers and customers </li><li> Review incoming quality concerns to maintain quality with assigned area; must have experience with initiating containment, determining root cause and implementing corrective actions. </li><li> Make quality calls that are in line with the customer acceptance level. </li><li> Raise quality concerns in to GSAR QR Systems </li><li> Pull part drawing / CAD to check suspect parts against specification. </li><li> Raise Concern Reports for all concerns and follow up until closure with G8D's based on data. </li><li> Co-ordinate part sorting in plant. </li><li> Sort parts for defects until supplier arrive at Ford to take over sorting function by hiring 3rd party to continue sorting activities. </li><li> Resolution of Quality concerns component supplier, Product Development, STA in a timely manner not to affect production output. </li><li> Managing conflict between affected parties. </li><li> Decision making on liability of defect. </li><li> Effective managing of suspect parts to protect customer. </li><li> Managing of Quality reports tracking and binning. </li><li> Visit and coach production departments and suppliers if needed. <br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications<br><br></strong><strong>You'll have... <br><br></strong><ul><li> High School Diploma </li><li> 3 years + Experience in Quality Engineering/ Incoming Quality </li><li> Bachelor’s degree in related field of Quality </li><li> Previous automotive and quality analysis experience </li><li> Demonstrated experience in accomplishing tasks and objectives </li><li> Proven problem-solving ability </li><li> Previous Incoming Quality Supervision </li><li> Microsoft Office Knowledge (Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint) <br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Even better, you may have...<br><br></strong>You may not check every box, or your experience may look a little different from what we've outlined, but if you think you can bring value to Ford Motor Company, we encourage you to apply!<br><br>As an established global company, we offer the benefit of choice.
