Hunt Job description : Job Title: Installation Technician I Department: Operations Country: United States of America State/Province: California City: Santa Fe Springs Full/Part Time: Full time Job Summary: Under close supervision, this position is responsible for the assembly and installation of products while providing a safe, efficient, and courteous delivery to our customers. Assist in helping load and unload items and maintain cleanliness of assigned vehicle and installation site. Incumbent must be able to work any shift to satisfy the demand for flexibility of scheduling to ensure operational success. This includes, but is not limited to, day shifts, night shifts and/or weekend shifts. Job Description: Key Responsibilities: • Help assemble and install products for all customers and manufacturers within a home location or job site • Properly assemble products per manufacturer's specifications, test for proper functionality and load, unload and install safely, according to local codes and standards without damage to product or customer location • Identify and resolve any issues in a professional and effective manner to ensure a positive outcome • Interact with coworkers and customers in a professional, fast-paced environment to ensure customer needs are met while building a strong working relationship with a positive attitude. • Understand and promote all JBHT safety requirements including required use of personal protective equipment to ensure safety of self and co-workers; adhere to safety policies and procedures to ensure job site is safe for product installation and free from hazards and obstructions that could endanger workers or damage the delivery site • May assist with project execution through effective communication in order to improve operational efficiency and profitability Qualifications: Minimum Qualification: 18 years of age with and ability to pass a background check; must possess ability to work outdoors, in the elements, or across multiple shifts including nights and/or weekends if needed Preferred Qualification: 1-2 years experience with High School Diploma/GED, experience in installing appliances, manual or physical labor, construction site preferred; possession of a valid driver's license with a motor vehicle record that meets JBH standards Skills & Abilities: Ability to fulfill physical requirements (lift/move product up to 100 pounds or greater) Ability to wear appropriate work attire (bump cap, footwear-steel toed shoes, gloves, safety vest) Customer service skills Experience in material handling Experience installing large, bulky equipment Willingness to work flexible workdays and hours Experience utilizing hand and power tools May travel up to 50% of time Education: GED, High School Work Experience: Construction/Installation Job Opening ID: 00477714 Installation Technician I (Open) “This job description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees within this classification.
