A Japanese Non-Profit company is seeking for a Japanese Bilingual Business Support Service and Accounting Associate for its Public Affairs Department Japanese Bilingual Business Support Service and Accounting Associate for General Affairs Department (Job Description)Business Support ServicesSurvey Support:- Conduct surveys while consulting with your supervisor as needed.- Perform data searches, interviews, field surveys, document preparation, and related coordination.- Briefing Service Support:- Handle incoming briefing requests and distribute them to relevant departments or staff.- Ensure smooth operation of each briefing request and maintain accurate records of all responses.Inquiry Response:- Respond to inquiries from companies as needed, consulting with your supervisor.- Conduct desktop research using websites and databases, and review federal and state government materials to provide accurate responses.- Introduce organization’s services or projects when appropriate, deepening your understanding of them.- Maintain records and summarize all responses.Support for Japanese Companies’ Overseas Expansion:- Under supervisor guidance, assist with the organization of seminars, exhibitions, and other events for Japanese companies.- Handle coordination, preparation, and setup tasks as required.Accounting Duties- Manage budgets for the PA department and coordinate closely with team members.- Prepare payments in accordance with accounting rules and guidelines (document preparation, voucher entry, coordination with internal accounting department, and other required tasks).- Calculate travel expenses and review reimbursement statements.- General Administrative Duties- Prepare various reports and maintain inventories of office supplies.- Create business cards and arrange meetings.- Handle phone calls and external inquiries, including call routing.- Perform other necessary administrative tasks.- Bachelor’s degree or higher (BA/College degree or above).- Ability to perform work in both Japanese and English with an international outlook.- Ability to perform tasks accurately and reliably, even during busy periods.- Capability to prepare reports accurately and in a timely manner.- Systematic thinking, attention to detail, productivity, and a strong sense of confidentiality and reliability.- Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with accounting software.- Experience in data collection/analysis or coordinating promotional events/PR activities is a plus.Hourly Rate: $28.57/hour (starting) + discretionary bonusWorking Hours & Arrangement9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch break, 12:00–13:00), 35 hours/weekHybridBenefits: Group insurance (medical, dental, vision, life insurance), 401(k) plan
