Job Description

The role is remote-friendly.

The Lead Adobe Target Developer will focus on the analysis of strategic website and experience optimization testing projects from inception to completion. You will also provide strategic consulting to support the client's website and app marketing initiatives, support on testing methods, processes and services across the organization, and evangelize a MVT agenda within the group and on assigned accounts.

This role participates in creating and articulating relevant A/B/n, Multivariate, and other optimization tests. It leverages knowledge of statistical modeling techniques to provide suggestions or guidance to teams under their oversight.

This role will report to the Sr. Director, Analytics, and its responsibilities and expectations include:

  • You will provide guidance on best practices as well as lead the strategic design, development, and implementation of Adobe Target experiences, with a focus on development quality and effective delivery
  • You will develop test and project plans, contribute to the overall program plan and roadmap, and manage individual/team daily tasks, ensuring deadlines are met
  • You will oversee all current and future tests and participate in cross-functional meetings by recommending best practices and sharing insights
  • You will present architectural solutions, ideas, and findings to clients
  • You will manage and mentor team members, providing constructive feedback and contributing to their technical and career development
  • You will demonstrate thought leadership, innovation, and identify, as well as execute, process improvements and standardization
  • You will translate complex business requirements into actionable experience testing requirements
  • You will create and be responsible for the execution of validation plans for Target platform updates that could affect “Business as Usual” operations
  • You will produce code for Target activities using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and DOM manipulation
  • You will collaborate with third-party agency partners and the Front-End development team to collect and refine requirements, answer experience execution feasibility questions, provide LOE estimates with detailed explanations, ensure best practices, and troubleshoot any issues
  • You will use data analysis to resolve issues related to experimentation data
  • You will evaluate data required to refine and create audiences

Qualifications

  • 3+ years' experience in the AB, Multivariate Testing, and Optimization marketing arenas, including understanding of website optimization, website analytics and other digital marketing concepts beyond the website, like display, search, and social.
  • Experience with website testing tools (Adobe Target, Optimizely, VWO, Maxymiser, Google Optimize, etc.) and JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and DOM manipulation required
  • Experience with website analytics preferred (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, etc.)
  • Preference for Adobe Analytics and other Adobe Experience Cloud/Platform tools
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, or similar tools required
  • Strong Excel skills required (VBA not necessary)
  • Strong presentation creation skills required (PowerPoint)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) or equivalent in computer science, statistics, math, economics, or related scientific/quantitative field plus several years' experience in applied disciplines

Additional Information

The anticipated salary range for this position is $94,000-$152,375. Salary is based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
