About the Role

We’re looking for a sharp, detail-oriented Loan Setup Assistant to support our loan origination team. This is an entry-level position designed for someone who is highly analytical, comfortable with numbers, and eager to learn the mortgage industry from the ground up.

No mortgage experience? No problem. We’ll train the right person. What we can’t train is curiosity, follow-through, and critical thinking—and that’s where you come in.

What You’ll Do

  • Set up new loan files accurately and efficiently
  • Review loan documentation for completeness and consistency
  • Enter and manage data in our CRM and loan origination systems
  • Communicate with clients and internal team members via phone and email
  • Track follow-ups and ensure deadlines are met
  • Identify issues, ask smart questions, and help solve problems before they become fires
  • Use AI tools and online research to find information quickly and accurately
  • Support the loan team with administrative and operational tasks as needed

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong foundation in basic math (accuracy matters here)
  • High critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable learning and working in CRM systems and loan-specific software
  • Ability to use AI tools and search effectively (think smart research, not copy-paste)
  • Strong phone skills with a professional, confident tone
  • Excellent follow-up habits—you don’t drop balls
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable
  • Coachable, curious, and eager to learn a new industry

Nice to Have (But Not Required)

  • Experience in administrative support, finance, real estate, or customer service

  • You must work and reside within the United States. Our systems will not work outside the US, not even on a VPN.
  • You will be on Zoom meetings and should have a workspace that is quiet and adequate for focused worked and talking on the phone.

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
