Tasks

Our TAKE-OFF trainee program will introduce the participants to the LH Group and its culture, provide an environment for personal growth and provide the mentoring that is required to becoming a valuable part of Lufthansa America.

In this role your main tasks include, among others:

  • Design, develop, and implement projects according to departmental objectives
  • Establish and implement strategic concepts to drive innovation within the business that best align the Lufthansa Group in the industry according to our brand
  • Analyze existing data and processes, suggest feedback for improvement of existing strategy, and advise on any necessary change management measures for best solutions
  • Develop a strong understanding of the business operation and major processes by collaborating directly with leadership and departmental heads on various functions
  • Foster relationships with leadership by networking and job shadowing team leaders to gain a better understanding of Lufthansa Group’s position in the industry

* Perform all other duties assigned or delegated by supervisors

Our Take off Trainee Program will take off on August 1st, 2023!

Selected trainees from all over the U.S. will embark on a 15-month journey where one will experience various aspects of our business through impactful and hands on project assignments. The program includes an international visit to the headquarters in Germany!

Your expert air freight - Lufthansa Cargo

Lufthansa Cargo provides air freight services, recognized for its quality and reliability in the air cargo transportation world. It operates a modern fleet including the state-of-art Boeing 777 aircrafts covering a global network of over 300 destinations.

Lufthansa Technik

A global leader in Aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services for airlines and aircraft operators worldwide. They offer a range of services including component and engine maintenance, interior & exterior modifications, technical support for airlines and aircraft operators.

Lufthansa Business Services

We provide various back-office support services to LHG and its subsidiaries. Services include finance & accounting, procurement, HR, IT and administrative support. The goal of LGBS is to increase efficiency, reduce costs for the group by centralizing and streamlining various business processes.

Requirements

  • Graduated in the last 2 years from Bachelor’s degree or master degree in the fields of Business, Economics, Engineering, Social Sciences, Political Science, Psychology, Aeronautics, or comparable
  • Fluency in English
