<p> The Studio Operations, Manager of International Post Operations is accountable and responsible for title management of certain Studio banners. This includes coordination with various stakeholders and vendors to ensure the timeline is being adhered to and materials are being mastered and QC'ed within the ordered timeframe and distributed securely. This role will manage a small team responsible for all tasks on titles assigned to them. Being proactive, knowledgeable, consistent, and flexible with an eye for efficiencies and potential hurdles is a must.<br /> The development of relationships within the team, with stakeholders and with the vendors is a key to success. Regular meetings with all touch points and discussions with your director will be a significant part of the role. Quality and timely delivery is critical to ensure the film gets its proper day and date release.<br /> A successful candidate in this role must have the ability to drive their team towards efficient execution of mastering workflows, while managing external vendors to ensure on-time delivery of compliant content. This position requires a high-level of proficiency in diplomatic workflows and an ability to operate cross-functionally is essential. This person will serve as a mastering contact for business partners including Post Production, Legal, Finance, Content Security, Screenings, Localization teams and others.<br /> <br /> Responsibilities:<br /> • Title management which includes mastering feasibility, build plan execution, component and motion ordering and oversight, QC escalation, systems management, and censorship execution.<br /> • Lead efforts and meetings with internal Post Production teams and executives to ensure clarity on timelines.<br /> • Mastering theatrical content and distribution (OV, localized, accessibility) which includes all formats for North America, Latin America and Asia Pacific.<br /> • Mastering in-home content (localized, censored) for all platforms globally.<br /> • QC and escalation of OV, audio, picture and localization for theatrical windows and some in-home windows while adhering to timelines.<br /> • Assessing unique problems that require thoughtful, tactful and knowledgeful solutions including executive presence, collaboration, and a deep understanding of the process.<br /> • Identification of and active project management to improve processes including quality metrics and root cause analysis.<br /> • Training and leading others on proper processes and execution.<br /> • Leads with a customer focus, reinforces continuous improvement and professional growth.<br /> Qualifications:<br /> • 5+ years experience and proficient understanding of digital media, deliverables, workflows, and technical knowledge related to episodic and film mastering workflows.<br /> • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience<br /> • Experience working with a hybrid (on/offsite) operational team within a motion picture, television, streaming or media/postproduction company.<br /> • Ability to foster a culture of customer-focused behaviors that promote a high level of responsiveness.<br /> • A working knowledge of Project Management and methodologies and Collaboration systems and products such as Jira, Smartsheet, Trello, Confluence.<br /> • Proven ability to be methodical, collaborative, and efficient<br /> • Experience in the following areas –<br /> • Planning/Forecasting<br /> • Project management<br /> • Vendor management<br /> • Quality Management<br /> • Must be available to work onsite 4 days per week (Monday-Thursday). Fridays are remote with flexibility to work onsite as needed. Additional flexibility may be required for evenings and weekends.<br /> Preferred Qualifications:<br /> • Experience working with key stakeholders across global territories (North America, LatAm, APAC, EMEA).<br /> • Understanding of technical aspects related to mastering and QC activities.<br /> • Excellent communication skills and an ability to participate with ease in collaborative efforts across departments and teams.<br /> The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $108,900 to $140,900 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
