The Manager, Sales Training and Operations will manage and coordinate EQUIP - Field and Sales Training Program with TMTT.

_Role is open to considering candidates based in Irvine CA (hybrid, based out of EW corporate office) or US based, remote. Regular domestic travel to various field training sites required._

How you'll make an impact :

+ Identify ongoing educational and project needs. Create and oversee key learning events including Basecamp, new hire and cross-training activities in partnership with key stakeholders. Act as a core team lead and provide consultation on various internal and/or field-related projects with cross-functional teams.

+ Provide leadership and management to team members focused on training operations

+ Develop a training schedule that optimizes efficient use of resources (Labs, Trainers, Training equipment, etc.)

+ Provide leadership through guidance, coaching and development for team members.

+ Lead ongoing efficiency improvements in vendor and consultant payments.

+ Investigate and analyze ongoing training needs and develop training plans and programs that meet the changing needs and priorities of the business while partnering with Sales Training and Sale leadership

+ Create and present customized digital technical content. Develop a strategy for digital training and related infrastructure.

+ Lead in process improvement projects by driving program effectiveness and ensuring overall stakeholder satisfaction from a content and educational perspective.

+ Other incidental duties

What you'll need (required):

+ Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent work experience based on Edwards criteria required

+ Minimum 8 years experience in relative medical device sales and clinical field training program leadership experience required.

+ People management experience preferred (includes hiring/firing authority, performance management, coaching, development and employee relations with HR functions).

+ Ability to travel up to 50% (daytime, overnight, car or air travel)

+ Proficient with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point) and related systems

+ Demonstrates professional communication skills and relationship management skills including consulting, influencing, and negotiation.

+ Ability to work well in a multi-cultural environment and matrix organization.

+ Demonstrates high level problem-solving, critical thinking and strict attention to detail skills

+ Knowledgeable or trained in cardiovascular science, anatomy, pathology and physiology

+ Extensive understanding of medical device regulatory requirements and documents, device accountability and adverse events reporting

+ Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes

+ Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels along with interact with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations.

+ Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment

+ Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control

For California, the base pay range for this position is $157,000 - $223,000 (highly experienced).
