Responsibilities

  • Provide technical expertise and support in the implementation and optimization of the SMOM systems platform and associated processes to support sector objectives.
  • Support legacy MES systems as the KCNA organization continues its digital manufacturing journey.
  • Leverage Digital Manufacturing Systems to advance mill based process optimization.
  • Perform leading-edge work and develop innovative approaches/solutions.
  • Provide technical and operational expertise to achieve quick and timely solutions to digital manufacturing related problems.
  • Ensure the success of KCNA MES journey through support of legacy systems.
  • Define and develop reports that meet plant and staff customer needs.
  • Develop and maintain data flows into relevant systems for generating information from Digital Manufacturing Systems.
  • Build organizational capability in digital manufacturing through key user training and support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and/or professional experience with a minimum of 5 years of supply chain or engineering experience.
  • Experience of leading assigned IT Projects and/or Programs.
  • Thorough knowledge of GE Plant Apps and AVEVA PI Systems.
  • Thorough knowledge of Windows 10 operating systems.
  • Detailed knowledge and advanced ability in MS Office.
  • Detailed knowledge and advanced capability in process controls.
  • Detailed knowledge of electrical and systems safety.
  • Ability to perform software training.
  • Ability to identify and solve computer hardware/software problems.
  • Ability to self-manage with little direct supervision.

Nice-to-haves

  • Prefer 2 plus years Manufacturing site experience.
  • Preferred experience with SQL, PowerBI, and SEEQ.
