The ideal candidate has a passion for storytelling with data, is highly analytical, and has significant hands-on experience using digital marketing platforms to drive retail outcomes.</p><p></p><p>We practice a remote first working model, leveraging in person interactions at our head office, in beautiful Vancouver, BC, for strategic, collaborative, and social purposes.</p><p></p><p><span>Apply now and grow your career with our Best Buy Ads team as a </span><b>marketing reporting and insights specialist</b><b><span>!</span></b></p><p></p><p><b><span>What you’ll do as a marketing reporting and insights specialist:</span></b></p><ul><li><p>Prepare campaign reporting for flagship campaigns and seasonal event vendor programs, weaving stories from data and translating results into clear narratives and recommendations.</p></li><li><p>Use a combination of Adobe Analytics, GA4, Power BI and publisher platforms (e.g. Google Ad Manager, Criteo Retail Media, Google Marketing Platform, Meta Ads Manager, SA 360) to pull required campaign data.</p></li><li><p><span>Collect, analyze and report on campaign performance across our full suite of ad products, including onsite, app, offsite, CRM and in-store tactics, and holistically. </span></p></li><li><p>Develop and maintain standardized advertiser reporting templates and SOPs for all Best Buy Ads campaigns.</p></li><li><p>Lead training and teach outs to all stakeholders, including Partner Marketing, Partner Success, digital retail and channel marketing teams.</p></li><li><p>Work closely with the Audience team to incorporate audience segmentation and insights into campaign reporting so that advertisers can directly see the value of leveraging Best Buy’s first party data.</p></li><li><p>Work with leadership to develop the roadmap for advertiser campaign measurement and self-serve reporting and insights, including KPIs, measurement approaches and tooling.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>What we’re looking for:</span></b></p><ul><li><p>5+ years of experience working in marketing analytics, retail media reporting and/or digital marketing measurement roles within media, retail or digital advertising.</p></li><li><p>Advanced knowledge and experience working with Adobe Analytics, GA4 and BI Tools (Power BI, Looker and/or Tableau).</p></li><li><p>Excellent knowledge of digital advertising measurement best practices and KPIs and hands-on experience working in a variety of digital advertising and reporting platforms.</p></li><li><p>Experience with hypothesis testing (a/b tests and incrementality tests) and T-Tests.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>Why you’ll love it here:</span></b></p><ul><li><p><span>Employee discounts on awesome tech from day one</span></p></li><li><p><span>Flexible health benefits and wellness program</span></p></li><li><p><span>TFSA and RRSP programs</span></p></li><li><p><span>100% matched company pension plan</span></p></li><li><p><span>Training programs to build new and transferable skills</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>About Best Buy</span></b></p><p><span>As Canada's destination for the coolest tech, Best Buy offers one of the best work environments in the country!
