The team is seeking a Mechanical Engineer Intern that can join the team for approximately 12 weeks. The person in this role will have the opportunity to participate in relevant work and gain hands on industry experience.<br><br>The person in this role will report to the Central EMRA Leader and will gain experience with Special projects and run it from start to finish as well as Blueprint reading, CAD, Microsoft Office package, safety walks.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li> Report out on projects to engineering team </li><li> Responsible for seeking out data and do research to complete your project </li><li> Investigate areas where improvements can be made </li><li> Work with full-time engineers to analyze and brainstorm potential cost saving projects <br><br></li></ul><strong>Minimum Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li> Enrolled in an accredited 4-year University. </li><li> Must be a Sophomore, Junior, Senior, or recent Graduate. </li><li> Interested in gaining hands-on industry experience prior to graduation. </li><li> Effective interpersonal and communication skills which are essential for interacting with all levels of the organization </li><li> Must be currently authorized to work in the United States for any employer <br><br></li></ul><strong>Preferred Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li> Prefer students majoring in Mechanical Engineering </li><li> Solid business insight </li><li> High interest in becoming an engineering leader in a manufacturing environment </li><li> Strong leadership and teamwork skills <br><br></li></ul><strong>What We Offer<br><br></strong>Novelis' benefits say a lot about how we care for each other.
