Location: Combination of REMOTE and ON-SITE work supporting corporate offices, branches sort centers and a remote/hybrid workforce at locations across the eastern US requiring up to 50% travel to remediate Layer 1 hardware topology. Candidates located in the following are preferred: Philadelphia, PA; Washington, DC, Atlanta, GA; Nashville, TN; Columbus, OH; or Chicago, IL
Pay: $104,800 to $131,000 / year depending on experience and qualifications
Shift: Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm
(After-hours maintenance and on-call responsibilities during network upgrades or incidents are required)

Employment Logistics:
The Network Engineer is responsible for the design, deployment, management, and optimization of enterprise network infrastructure with an emphasis on Cisco Meraki solutions. This role ensures high availability, performance, and security of the corporate LAN, WAN, and wireless networks across multiple sites. Success requires a combination of deep technical expertise with strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.

The Must-Haves:
  • At least 3 years of experience in enterprise network engineering or administration.
  • Proven experience deploying and managing Cisco Meraki environments (Dashboard, APIs, templates, monitoring, troubleshooting).
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP).
  • Expertise in network security principles, including firewalls, segmentation, and threat mitigation.
  • Exceptional troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-site enterprise environment and support on-call rotation as needed.
Your Mission in Motion:
  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure enterprise network solutions using Cisco Meraki technologies (MX, MS, MR, MV, and Systems Manager).
  • Configure and manage firewall policies, VPNs (IPSec/SSL), NAT, routing, and segmentation in complex enterprise environments.
  • Monitor and optimize network performance through the Meraki Dashboard and other analytics tools.
  • Configure and manage firewalls, routers, switches, and wireless access points across multiple enterprise locations.
  • Integrate Meraki networks with existing infrastructure, cloud services, and security platforms.
  • Manage SD-WAN connectivity and ensure seamless performance between branch sites, sort centers, Colo and cloud data centers.
  • Implement and enforce network security policies, VPN configurations, and user access controls.
  • Apply familiarity with SaaS Client VPN solutions like Tailscale
  • Collaborate with IT security, systems teams, and cloud teams to align network strategies with enterprise objectives.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, escalating to vendors when necessary.
  • Maintain documentation of network designs, topologies, configurations, and procedures.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to IT staff on Meraki and general networking best practices.
  • Stay current with new Meraki features, firmware updates, and industry trends in enterprise networking.
Paving your way to your success:
  • Expertise in Cisco Meraki Full Stack – MX, MS, MR.
  • Experience with Meraki APIs and network automation tools (e.g., Python, Ansible, Postman).
  • Cloud networking (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and hybrid network architectures.
  • Understanding of Zero Trust, SASE, and network access control (NAC) frameworks.
  • Cloudflare WAF, Proxied DNS
  • Experience integrating Meraki with identity and access management (IAM) or SD-WAN solutions.
