About the position

Paramount Advertising seeks a Network Traffic Lead to ensure that commercials are scheduled to achieve competitive separation on product and advertiser level; receive equitable rotation, and deliver per client guidelines inclusive of pod positioning, program restrictions, separation, mix, etc. This role is fully remote.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Pricing & Inventory, Sales, and Programming to strategically schedule weekly inventory
  • Work with S&P on competitive issues, creative restrictions, kid-vid compliance, and provide reports as requested per team
  • Update sales on potential clearance issues and send pre-empted bin reports daily
  • Build and run program/traffic formats in accordance with the P&I/Programming/Media Planning teams agreed upon capacities
  • Provide feedback when capacities do not match grids and work with all teams to update accordingly
  • Provide the Broadcast center with final logs including all elements (programming/commercials/promo's/graphics)
  • Requires confirmation from the Broadcast center that the file was received in full and times out prior to signing off for the day
  • Update post log data for billing in recon
  • Ensure live linear addressable air within their windows inclusive of live, day-of changes
  • Perform quality control checks on logs to avoid scheduling conflicts
  • Serve as point of contact for after-hour issues and implement urgent changes as needed (in accordance with management)
  • Complete Afterburner and ADO optimization for all logs
  • Responsible for all of the above items for 2-3 Paramount/BET property networks
  • Expected to have an in-depth knowledge for all Paramount/BET property networks due to fluid coverage/network responsibility

Requirements

  • 3+ years working experience in media or equivalent preferred
  • Proficient in PowerPoint, Word and Excel
  • Experience with Wide Orbit preferred

Nice-to-haves

  • An Associate degree or equivalent experience is preferred
  • Program Tracking System & E-log experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail, work ethic and excellent judgment
  • Focused on achieving objectives and adept at handling multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced work environment
