About GrowthHit

GrowthHit is a growth marketing consultancy that provides a data-driven growth strategy for clients and runs rapid growth experiments across paid social, websites, and email automation.

We’ve worked with everyone from VC-backed startups to Fortune 500 brands. Our clients have been featured on The TODAY Show, Wall Street Journal, and Shark Tank. We’ve seen clients raise over $40M in funding. We’ve generated over $247M from growth experiments. We’ve spent millions on paid ads.

We’re obsessed with growth. Our team has written best-selling books on growth marketing, launched five-figure courses on technical marketing, and presented on startup growth topics across the country. We love this stuff.

GrowthHit is a lean team of technical marketers, designers, data nerds, and side hustlers that get sh*t done. We treat every company like our own. We don’t work with jerks, and we don’t hire jerks. We’re based in Seattle but have a remote team so you can work from wherever you want.

  • A solid understanding of direct response marketing and how design impacts performance metrics.
  • Ability to present design concepts and explain rationale to clients and internal teams.
  • Experience designing conversion-oriented creatives, including static ads, GIFs, and short-form video ads.
  • A basic understanding of UX/UI principles and how design influences user behavior.
  • Strong communication skills – both written and verbal.
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A self-starter with the ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Time management skills and an efficient working style.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered design tools such as MidJourney, Runway, or Adobe Firefly, and how they can enhance creative workflows.
  • An ability to understand the nuances of brand identity, with an attention to detail for colors, typography and art direction

What Would Be Helpful to Have:

  • 3+ years of experience working as an ads designer or in a similar role.
  • Ability to collaborate with technical specialists, copywriters, and marketing teams.
  • Experience working with a wide array of clients across different industries.
  • Knowledge of A/B testing principles and an ability to analyze creative performance.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about creating impactful ad creatives that drive real results. If you love design, marketing, and seeing your work make an impact, we’d love to hear from you!
