Job Overview In this part-time role, you will work 34 hours per week, with flexible hours between 8am and 4:30pm CST, Monday through Friday. The position can be fully remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home. As a Data Entry Claims Intake Processor, you will be responsible for accurately entering data from insurance claims and authorization requests, navigating efficiently through our imaging software, and collaborating with other team members to meet client turnaround times. Key Responsibilities Accurately enter data from insurance claims and authorization requests submitted by healthcare providers, ensuring high levels of accuracy and attention to detail. Enter data expediently and efficiently to meet client turnaround times, while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and quality. Navigate efficiently and effectively through our imaging software to retrieve claims and authorizations for data entry, utilizing your technical skills and knowledge to optimize workflow. Differentiate between different claim types and follow the appropriate data entry guidelines, demonstrating your ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities. Accurately identify specific document types that require special handling, exercising your attention to detail and analytical skills. Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure that work is completed in accordance with designated turnaround times, fostering a spirit of teamwork and cooperation. Support additional workflows as needed due to internal or external requirements, demonstrating your flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing circumstances. Qualifications and Requirements To be a successful candidate for this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills: Education: High school diploma or equivalent, demonstrating your foundation in basic skills and knowledge. Experience: 6 months or more years of experience in data entry or typing-focused role, showcasing your technical skills and attention to detail. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong data entry and typing skills, excellent attention to detail, and a high degree of accuracy, demonstrating your ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment. Assessment Requirements If selected for further consideration, candidates will be required to complete an online alphanumeric data entry assessment, which will evaluate your technical skills and attention to detail.
