Provide excellent patient care: The primary responsibility of a Patient Care Tech is to provide compassionate and high-quality care to patients. This includes assisting with daily activities, monitoring vital signs, and responding to patient needs in a timely manner. Collaborate with healthcare team: As a Patient Care Tech, you will work closely with nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients. This involves communicating effectively and being a team player. Monitor patient progress: It is essential to observe and document any changes in a patient's condition and report them to the appropriate healthcare provider. This will help in developing an effective care plan for the patient. Assist with basic procedures: Patient Care Techs may be responsible for assisting with basic medical procedures such as taking blood samples, administering medication, and changing dressings under the supervision of a nurse or doctor.
