The Opportunity

We are seeking an enthusiastic and engaging Patient Engagement Coordinator to support our patients in moving seamlessly through the patient journey. You'll be responsible for proactive outreach to patients to engage or re-engage in care, scheduling visits, and communicating with timely and accurate information via phone, text, and live video call. You will leverage your persuasive communication and relationship-building skills to articulate the value of Allara's programs, overcome enrollment barriers, and ultimately drive patient retention and positive health outcomes.

Location: Fully remote within the U.S.

Your Impact

  • Patient Activation & Enrollment: Execute strategic omnichannel outbound campaigns (phone, SMS, and live video call) to engage warm leads and drive enrollment into Allara's care programs.
  • Re-Engagement/Retention: Proactively identify and reach out to disengaged patients to understand their barriers to follow-up, re-articulate the value proposition of continued care, and successfully facilitate their re-connection with their Allara care team.
  • Consultative Communication: Act as the primary point of contact, utilizing empathetic, patient-centric communication to clearly explain care plans, treatment pathways, and the full range of Allara's offerings.
  • Relationship Management: Build strong rapport with patients through personalized assistance, helping them navigate their healthcare journey with compassion, professionalism, and persuasive support.
  • Process Coordination: Efficiently manage scheduling, coordinate telehealth services, and ensure accurate, timely communication of sensitive patient information between providers, patients, and internal operations teams.
  • Operational Excellence: Maintain expert knowledge of Allara's clinical workflows and service offerings to ensure smooth, high-quality patient support that consistently meets enrollment and follow-up goals.
Required Qualifications
  • 1+ years of proven experience in a patient coordination, care navigation, account management, or sales role.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to build rapport quickly, handle objections, and clearly convey value in complex conversations.
  • Strong creative problem-solving skills focused on removing patient/customer barriers to enrollment and ensuring smooth coordination of patient requests.
  • High technical proficiency, comfortable navigating multiple CRM/EMR systems and handling sensitive data.
  • A quiet, private workspace with reliable internet to support confidential patient communications.
  • Ability to dedicate 30 weekly hours.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in digital health, telehealth, or virtual care organizations.
  • Familiarity with patient/customer relationship management (CRM) systems or Electronic Health Records (EHR).
