The Role: 

This is a great opportunity to use your clinical experience and critical thinking in a collaborative environment. As a Children’s Health Practitioner Consultant, you will be a clinical resource for your functional area(s). This role involves providing evidence-based sessions on various medical, behavioral, and emotional topics for children aged 0 to 12.

At Carrot, we are developing solutions to improve health and family-forming journeys, and you can be a key part of this change. The requirement for this role is approximately one hour per week, with the potential to increase based on utilization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Stay current with guidelines for children aged 0 to 12 in the LATAM region.
  • Use your clinical experience to engage in discussions and educate others.
  • Participate in quality assurance initiatives and audits to ensure safety, compliance, and high standards.

The Team:

Our team is a diverse group of professionals with expertise in fertility, mental health, pediatrics, nutrition, and pregnancy. They are passionate about continuous learning and education, always utilizing an evidence-based approach.

They are deeply committed to helping individuals:

  • Understand their parenting, fertility, and family-forming options
  • Optimize their overall and reproductive health
  • Navigate postpartum and provide parenting support for children aged 0 to 12 years

 

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Ability to speak fluent English 
  • Health Visitor, General Children’s Practitioner, or similar
  • Lactation consultant
  • General knowledge of parental leave.
  • General knowledge of parenting styles, food patterns, popular related guidelines, and cultural beliefs towards parenting styles
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience providing patient care to children 0 to 12 years of age
  • Understands topics and obstacles for parents preparing for leave and returning to work
  • Superb listening skills and an ability to empathetically discuss parenting
  • Ability to work independently and understand the difference between good clinical judgment and non-directive guidance 
  • Motivated to expand knowledge on pediatric topics
  • Ability to function well from a confidential and private work-remote environment (this is a 100% remote role)
  • Flexibility to adapt with evolving business needs
  • Must have reliable online and digital resources available for use

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional language preferred 

Compensation:

The starting base salary for this position will range from $50-100. Actual compensation may vary from posted base salary depending on your confirmed job-related skills and experience.
