Description

As Apple's People Business Partner Leader for Canada, you are an agile coach and trusted community steward to employees, leaders and executives across the organization. Based on the business strategy and a deep diagnosis of internal & external trends, you will build and implement the People Strategy together with your team. You will act as a liaison between Apple’s worldwide people vision and strategic priorities. You will ensure the specific initiatives and strategies are integrated and complementary to regional and worldwide priorities, and you will drive the adoption of a future-orientated work environment and engagement framework. With this, you are the ambassador of Apple’s global People vision. On a functional level, you will manage a team of People Business Partners to build a successful team with strong business impact and a culture of constant learning. Your work is systemic and uses resources from Apple’s wider People eco system to facilitate and provide an aligned people vision. You will work as a trusted advisor to senior leaders to create and implement solutions and recommendations in the People space. You are essential in building leadership capabilities and supporting leaders in creating a culture, the organization, leadership styles and the inclusive environment vital for people at Apple to do the best work of their life.

  • Design and implement critical initiatives to meet the short and long term needs of Apple Retail and our corporate site strategy in Canada

  • Create an exceptional employee experience, build a plan for it through data and observation

  • Consistently assess the organizational effectiveness of all aspects of the employee lifecycle by collaborating with the vital partners of the wider People team

Preferred Qualifications

Bilingual in French (CA) and English

Demonstrated organizational agility: knows how to connect people across all levels of the organization to drive forward what matters

Approach problems flexibly: navigates between challenging initiatives, responsibilities or priorities to assess the situation and consider the varying needs to generate a range of solutions

Stay curious: demonstrates a deep curiosity about the untold or undiscovered story

Minimum Qualifications

12+ years of experience as a strategic HR Business Partner

Proven track record of people leadership skills

Drive what matters: create alignment and focus; inclusive of connecting People initiatives to strategic objectives in order to drive impact

Resilient and driven: ensures initiatives achieve their full potential, despite challenges or moments of ambiguity

See around corners: the ability to keep one eye on the future of an organization while handling the myriad demands of the present

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $188,300 and $282,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple Inc.'s discretionary employee stock programs. Employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit award recommendations, and can purchase Apple Inc. stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple Inc.'s Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Participation in Apple Inc.'s discretionary stock programs is governed by Apple Inc.'s stock plans and agreements and are not part of local employment contracts or compensation.
