<strong>People Business Partner</strong><br><br><strong>Remote and live within Central Time Zone</strong><br><br><strong>About the Role:</strong><br><br>As a CBRE People Business Partner, you will assist with the roll-out and communication of HR initiatives, policies, and procedures.<br><br>This job is part of the People Strategy and Operations function. They are responsible for the design, execution, and monitoring of human resource programs and policies.<br><br><strong>What You'll Do:</strong><br><ul> <li>Assist with the development of onboarding, career ladders, succession planning, and performance management initiatives in the organization.</li> <li>Provide employee relations guidance, conflict resolution, and assist with issuing disciplinary action and performance improvement counseling.</li> <li>Work with managers to identify employment-related risks and begin the discovery process of investigations and grievances.</li> <li>Manage several HR functions such as employment, labor relations, compensation, etc. for a business unit or line of business.</li> <li>Conduct training on a variety of topics including performance management, diversity, and more.</li> <li>Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.</li> <li>Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of own job discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.</li> <li>Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.</li> <li>Impact a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within own team and other related teams.</li> <li>Work within broad guidelines and policies.</li> <li>Explain difficult or sensitive information.</li> <li>Travel to our sites which could be up to 30% monthly - drive and some overnight trips.</li> </ul><br><strong>What You'll Need:</strong><br><ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.</li> <li>Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.</li> <li>Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.</li> <li>In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.</li> <li>Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.</li> <li>Sophisticated math skills. The minimum salary for this position is $85,000 annually and the maximum salary for this position is $100,000 annually.
