The People Experiences & Events Coordinator supports the Manager, People Experiences and Rewards with the planning, coordination, and execution of events for Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare. A Brief Overview The People Experiences & Events Coordinator supports the Manager, People Experiences and Rewards with the planning, coordination, and execution of events for Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare. Models appropriate behavior as exemplified in MLH Mission, Vision and Values. What you will do Coordinates, plans, and facilitates hospital/corporate activities, programs, and health education opportunities for Associates. Identifies requirements and expectations for each event and ensure they are met. Collaborates with the marketing team to increase event and sponsor visibility through various channels, including social media, email campaigns, etc. Assists with the logistics, scheduling, and successful completion of company-wide events. Provides administrative support for events, including preparing and tracking check requests, ordering event supplies, maintaining inventory items, managing mail merges and mailings, and packing and unpacking event supplies. Establishes and maintains strong professional relationships with external vendors, key service providers, and venues to ensure cost-effective and high-quality event execution. Supports with on-site event execution, ensuring smooth operations and prompt resolution of any issues. Conducts post-event evaluations to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement. Performs other job functions as assigned or requested. Education Qualifications Associates Degree Business Administration/Management Associates Degree Human Resources Bachelor's Degree Business Administration/Management Bachelor's Degree Human Resources Experience Qualifications Must have at least two (2) years of experience in Human Resources. Skills and Abilities Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in using event management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities. Supervision Provided by this Position There are no supervisory or lead responsibilities assigned to this position. Physical Demands The physical activities of this position may include climbing, pushing, standing, hearing, walking, reaching, grasping, kneeling, stooping, and repetitive motion. Must have good balance and coordination. The physical requirements of this position are: light work - exerting up to 25 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 10 lbs. of force frequently. The Associate is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity, such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; or extensive reading. The conditions to which the Associate will be subject in this position: The Associate is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions; job functions are typically performed under conditions such as those found in general office or administrative work.
