The successful candidate will partner with the PMG (Portfolio Management Group) COO and their team to drive completion of critical projects, prioritize engagements and prepare materials for key events for the Head and the Deputy Head of PMG. In addition, they will also provide business management support for the PMG COO. The role will involve close collaboration with PMG Exco (Executive Committee), client teams, PMG COOs, Finance, HR, Risk and Legal & Compliance. The candidate should know how to navigate a matrix organization, operate in a highly proactive and resourceful manner and demonstrate strong analytical and communication skills. Interpersonal skills will be critically important to build strong relationships with peers and develop connectivity, as well as the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion. The candidate will be well organized and have a highly critical eye for detail to ensure all commitments are delivered consistently to high standards in a timely manner on behalf of the PMG leadership team. In addition, they should be an independent thinker who is capable of driving multiple initiatives forward simultaneously, using sound judgement to prioritize and multi-task where needed.

Responsibilities

  • Support the PMG COO and their team in all day-to-day operations including execution of priorities.
  • Collaborate with global, corporate and functional stakeholders to plan, maintain and drive strategic initiatives.
  • Deliver ad hoc assignments initiated by the PMG COO.
  • Oversee transfer of completed projects to businesses/functions when appropriate.
  • Serve as a key liaison between the PMG COO and internal stakeholders.
  • Prepare presentations, memos, talking points and speeches for the Head of PMG, Deputy Head of PMG and the PMG COO.
  • Execute on (or oversee) clear action items and commitments following meetings.
  • Prepare the meeting agenda, prepare minutes and drive follow-up actions.
  • Partner with regional and functional leaders and COOs to help with cross-functional coordination.
  • Proactively identify issues and challenges and offer potential solutions.
  • Leverage technology to drive greater efficiency and to scale operations.
  • Work with data/MIS to support the day-to-day management of PMG.
