Please contact Human Resources if you require an accommodation.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Basic Function<br><br></strong>The Office of Contractor Supplier and Diversity (OCSD) is seeking a detail-oriented, motivated Project Assistant to support our fast-paced department’s day-to-day operations and assist with the MWBE and SDVOB programs. The Project Assistant will provide administrative, logistical, and project coordination support to the OCSD. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and passionate about supplier diversity, equity, and inclusion. This role involves maintaining accurate records, assisting with reporting, coordinating, and support of the ongoing MWBE program initiatives.<br><br><strong>Work Performed<br><br></strong><ul><li> Provide administrative support to the Assistant Vice President and Director of OCSD.</li><li> Maintain and update MWBE databases, ensuring accuracy and compliance with program guidelines.</li><li> Support data collection, analysis, and preparation of reports, presentations, and dashboards.</li><li> Support contract compliance managers with MWBE research and adding and updating contracts in the NYSCS.</li><li> Research and prepare lists of qualified and certified MWBEs and SDVOBs as requested.</li><li> Monitor contract/procurement contracts including maintenance of records, databases, spreadsheets, and other internal/external reports; identify and describe potential problems or delays encountered and relay any relevant information to the AVP, Director, and/or Compliance Managers.</li><li> Participate in weekly, monthly, and quarterly office, interdepartmental and division-wide meetings, webinars, and/or teleconferences.</li><li> Provide the highest standard of customer service to internal and external partners and stakeholders,</li><li> Monitor the OCSD mailbox and respond to vendors, support tickets, community partners, and internal departments.</li><li> Participate in MWBE, SDVOB and other related expos and events, as necessary.</li><li> Participate in trainings, workgroups, strategic planning sessions and other group projects as necessary.</li><li> Contribute to process improvements and help develop tools or templates for more efficient program delivery.</li><li> Perform projects, tasks and other duties as assigned by Supervisor.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications<br><br></strong><strong> Minimum Qualifications <br><br></strong>Education Level required: Associate degree; (bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required).<br><br>Relevant experience required: 3+ years of administrative or project coordination experience, preferably in government, nonprofit, construction-related, or supplier diversity programs.<br><br>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.<br><br>Knowledge required: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and database management. Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communications skills. Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.<br><br><strong>Additional Comments<br><br></strong>Salary range as specified.<br><br>Comprehensive Benefits Package.<br><br>
