These projects and programs will be managed by the PM Manager Senior and a team of 10+ project managers who will report into the PM Manager Senior.</p><p></p><p></p><p><b><u>What you will be doing:</u></b></p><p><b>Portfolio Governance & Scope Management</b></p><ul><li><p>Enforce FIS governance frameworks across all projects, ensuring documented Project Charters that capture scope, assumptions, and change control aligned with FIS methodology.</p></li><li><p>Secure agreement on roles and responsibilities between FIS, client, and third-party teams, establishing governance forums and escalation paths consistent with FIS standards.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Risk & Issue Management</b></p><ul><li><p>Monitor portfolio-level risks and issues, identifying patterns that could impact FIS delivery commitments.</p></li><li><p>Partner with client PMs to maintain a joint risk register and ensure mitigation plans are implemented to protect FIS contractual obligations and client trust.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Change Governance</b></p><ul><li><p>Ensure all change requests follow FIS-approved governance processes and contractual terms, minimizing scope creep and financial exposure.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Stakeholder Management</b></p><ul><li><p>Represent FIS in high-level governance forums (e.g., Steering Committees), ensuring proactive alignment with internal stakeholders and client leadership before major decisions.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Commercial & Financial Management</b></p><ul><li><p>Translate FIS contractual scope into accurate project budgets and maintain real-time visibility of Estimate at Completion (EAC).</p></li><li><p>Monitor compliance with minimum T&M commitments and proactively manage client expectations to avoid revenue leakage.</p></li><li><p>Oversee invoicing and billing cycles, ensuring SLA adherence and timely resolution of unpaid invoices to protect FIS cash flow.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Reporting & Planning</b></p><ul><li><p>Drive timely updates of FIS Planview status reports and ensure RAG indicators accurately reflect client, financial, and delivery health.</p></li><li><p>Maintain “Get to Green” plans for all projects with Red/Amber indicators and forecast demand/capacity changes to support FIS resource planning.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Resource Management & Team Leadership</b></p><ul><li><p>Forecast resource requirements and collaborate with FIS Practice Managers to address capacity shifts.</p></li><li><p>Monitor team productivity and billable utilization, closing competency gaps and promoting cross-pollination of best practices within FIS.</p></li><li><p>Foster a high-performing culture aligned with FIS values—collaboration, proactive problem-solving, and continuous improvement.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b><u>What you will need:</u></b></p><ul><li><p>Extensive knowledge of project management standards, processes, and guidelines.</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with industry best practices (Project Management Body of Knowledge - PMBOK).</p></li><li><p>Understanding of various IT project methodologies and life cycles.</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of software industry standards (ISO, CMM, Six Sigma).</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with financial services industry and FIS products/services.</p></li><li><p>Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project).</p></li><li><p>Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills.</p></li><li><p>Ability to interact effectively with executives and maintain confidentiality.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b><u>What we offer you:</u></b></p><p>At FIS, we hire the best. The pay range for this full-time position is $119,560.00 - $200,840.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location.
