As a Quality Technician I at Bath Fitter’s Tennessee Plant, you’ll play a critical role in protecting product quality and customer satisfaction. You’ll be responsible for inspecting products and materials, investigating customer complaints, supporting audits, and driving continuous improvement across our manufacturing operations.

In this role, you will:

  • Analyze returned products and prepare detailed quality reports
  • Inspect products to verify compliance with specifications, quality standards, and shipping requirements
  • Investigate and validate customer complaints and quality issues
  • Conduct product and process audits per established procedures
  • Test products, materials, cleaners, and received merchandise
  • Verify nonconformities are corrected and corrective actions are sustained
  • Calibrate and operate measurement and inspection equipment
  • Support departments with quality-related questions and guidance
  • Participate in and lead continuous improvement initiatives using tools such as Kaizen and PDCA
  • Facilitate root-cause analysis and guide corrective/preventive actions
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS), including SOPs and standard work
  • Monitor return-rate trends and collaborate cross-functionally to prevent recurrence
  • Represent the Quality department in production and cross-department meetings
  • Provide training and coaching on quality standards as needed
  • Follow all Bath Fitter policies, procedures, and safety requirements

We are looking for someone with:

  • High school diploma or GED (Associate’s degree preferred)
  • 18 months to 3 years of experience in a quality, inspection, or manufacturing-related role
  • Strong attention to detail and high visual awareness
  • Experience with measurement tools and calibration systems
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ERP experience (Navision) is an asset
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles (a plus)
  • Strong time management, organization, and follow-through
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 100 lbs, with standing and walking throughout the shift
  • Reliable attendance and a strong sense of accountability
