Acts as a resource for educational programs. * Provides selective direct patient care as required to maintain outpatient and perioperative skills. * Participates in the review and development of policies and procedures and standards of nursing practice. * Participates on hospital committees and performance improvements as appropriate. * Uses evidence-based practice to develop and implement, education and orientation for the staff members. * Uses evidence based practice when providing care. Required: Certifications/Licenses/Education: The individual must be a graduate of a recognized School of Nursing program. Must have a BSN or education plan in place. Three years of hospital clinical nursing experience required. Demonstrates effective interpersonal skills necessary to interact in a professional manner with customers. The individual must be licensed by the State of Indiana as a Registered Nurse. Revocation or inability to maintain licensure and/or registration may result in termination of the individual. Maintains current certifications in BLS and continuing educational requirements.
