About the Role: Remote Account Manager - Costco

We are excited to announce an exceptional opportunity for a skilled and experienced Remote Account Manager to join our team and drive sales growth for the Glucerna brand at Costco. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for fostering strong customer relationships, delivering net sales growth, and managing trade deals to drive profitable business. Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster strong customer relations with Buyer, Assistant Buyer, and ICS to drive business growth and achieve sales objectives.
  • Deliver Net Sales growth and share objectives through effective sales strategies and trade deal negotiations.
  • Effectively negotiate trade deals to drive profitable business and positive ROI, managing Trade Budget, Rate, and Net Sales Realization.
  • Manage accurate sales and shipment forecasts to ensure business planning and execution.
  • Develop and leverage a thorough knowledge of the customer, industry, and competitive landscape to inform sales strategies and drive business results.
  • Own customer meetings and create tactical plans to deliver Costco and Abbott's key objectives.
  • Develop and deliver team strategies, objectives, goals, and key performance metrics to drive business growth.
  • Actively lead, engage, and work with internal Abbott Nutrition functions, peers, and colleagues to drive business results and achieve sales objectives.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • 2-3 years of direct sales experience, preferably in the consumer packaged goods industry, with experience selling to Costco.
  • A strong record of exceeding sales growth and share objectives.
  • Effective interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written) to build strong customer relationships.
  • Ability to analyze data/market trends to effectively develop presentations, provide recommendations, and forecast performance.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Circana.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the nutrition or healthcare industry.
  • Knowledge of the sales landscape and competitive dynamics in the consumer packaged goods industry.

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $83,000 - $166,000, depending on experience and location.
