As a Web Developer 4 at Microsoft, you will design, code, and implement complex applications and services that power Azure-based solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative systems.


Responsibilities

  • Participate in daily standups/scrum calls to review priorities and progress
  • Design, code, test, document, and maintain Azure services aligned with business requirements
  • Prepare technical documentation including design diagrams, architecture choices, and monitoring needs
  • Monitor system capacity and performance, designing scale requirements as needed
  • Evaluate feature requests for feasibility, cost, and compatibility with existing systems
  • Engage in code reviews, planning sessions, and design discussions with peers
  • Write and execute test cases, identify and resolve bugs, and ensure adherence to security requirements
  • Leverage AI solutions to optimize code throughput, quality, and test case generation
  • Execute project plans and work items defined in Azure DevOps (ADO)
  • Break down work into smaller tasks, participate in sprint planning, and provide status updates
  • Escalate issues when additional support is required

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • Minimum 18 months tenure in prior roles
  • C#, ASP.NET Development: 5+ years
  • Azure Services & Infrastructure: 5+ years
  • SQL/Data Warehouse: 5+ years
  • Prior Microsoft experience (strong plus, not required)
  • Full-stack Windows/Azure developer
  • Strong expertise in Azure services and high-availability methodologies
  • Proven ability to work independently and translate documented requirements into tested, production-ready code
  • Experience with CI/CD methodologies, ADO pipelines, and YAML
  • Knowledge of system development life cycles
  • Expertise in Azure infrastructure including AKS, Event Grid, AAD/Entra, KeyVault, and Azure SQL
  • Experience with ARM templates, React.js, and Angular.js is a plus
