As an Assistant Product Manager on the National Strategy Homeowners Insurance Product Line team, you’ll lead the strategic roadmap and manage national decisions on the product while supporting business partners and developing future product models.


Responsibilities

  • Lead and drive the HO3 strategic roadmap
  • Own and influence national decisions on the product
  • Conceptualize future product features
  • Support property business partners in the execution of current product models
  • Develop and implement front-end research for future product models
  • Own state product management guidance
  • Serve as an HO3 subject matter expert on Progressive’s products and those of its competitors

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree or higher with an emphasis in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Quantitative Research or Actuarial Science
  • Minimum of 4 years analytical work in a professional setting or property casualty insurance experience
  • Selection for this job family requires participation in Progressive's PM Assessment Process, consistent with guidelines set out by the Recruiting organization
  • Tenure at the Assistant Product Manager level generally will be 12-36 months. If the Assistant Product Manager has not demonstrated the capability for promotion to the next career level in this time, other career paths will be sought
  • Prior experience working in strategic product capacity, managing property insurance products, while implementing and completing future product enhancements
  • Proven ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights to optimize product performance while looking at the portfolio across the country
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and the ability to ensure strategic alignment and clarity across multiple business units
  • Strong business insight with an understanding of the latest trends and market dynamics within the property insurance industry
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor analysts
