The Business Development / Lead Key Account Manager will drive strategic growth by building partnerships with emerging Asian EV OEMs and major automotive customers, while expanding Goodyear's presence in high-potential markets.


Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue growth opportunities by conducting market research on high-potential customers, dealer networks, and strategic partners across Europe
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key automotive players, creating targeted contact lists and nurturing long-term partnerships
  • Own and drive the Key Account Plan for selected accounts, providing strategic direction and alignment across Goodyear’s Sales Teams
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration, working closely with Marketing, Finance, and Pricing to ensure consistent execution and value delivery
  • Develop deep market knowledge of designated EU key markets and actively participate in high-stakes negotiations
  • Coordinate with local Key Account Managers to ensure alignment, share insights, and support regional business development efforts

Skills

  • University degree or equivalent higher education
  • Strong command of English (spoken and written)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Sales or Customer Management
  • Experience working with Asian EV OEMs or within the EV industry
  • Proven track record in business development, customer sales, account management, or partnership development
  • Ability to proactively research, identify, and engage new prospects
  • Self-driven, with strong time management and prioritization skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience working with Asian EV OEMs or within the EV industry
  • Familiarity with dealership structures and automotive supply chains
  • Strong analytical skills in market trends and data interpretation
  • Working knowledge of business tools such as Power BI, Salesforce, or Tableau
