NetJets, the global private aviation leader, is seeking a Cabin Interiors Standards Specialist, Senior to support aircraft audits and cabin interior development. This role involves conducting audits, developing training materials, and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure consistency and quality in cabin interiors.


Responsibilities

  • Lead and conduct the cabin interior audits to ensure consistency
  • Support the Director, Cabin Configuration and Development to prepare the relevant training and reference materials to ensure effective aircraft ratings
  • Support key stakeholders by developing feedback and proposed aircraft interior updates
  • Assist in compiling feedback regarding aircraft cabin appearance and interiors from audits, Crewmembers, Maintenance and Suppliers
  • Partner with NetJets internal departments and key stakeholders globally to ensure synergies with aircraft ratings
  • Support the Global 5 Senses team, Refurbishment and Maintenance with interior audits
  • Track and follow trends of the various materials within the cabin space for improvements
  • Prepare and coordinate supplier visits, and training to complete audits
  • Develop and maintain effective channels of communication both internally and externally
  • Partner with Engineering Teams to ensure Engineering Drawings are accurate and updated
  • Train Contractors on interior standards of reviewing aircraft

Skills

  • Associate's in Aerospace or Design
  • 4-6 years of experience required in aircraft interiors, refurbishment, or completions (private aviation experience strongly preferred)
  • Proficiency with aircraft engineering drawings, material callouts, and specifications
  • Familiarity with OEM aircraft
  • Experience with cabinetry, upholstery, veneer, and finish materials in aviation environments
  • Role requires understanding of the aircraft cabin configuration and interiors, and the importance of the standardized approach for the cabin appearance
  • A&P Airframe and Powerplant Certification or Associates in Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Design, or related technical field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and hands-on aircraft interior experience
  • 7-9 years of experience preferred in aircraft interiors, refurbishment, or completions (private aviation experience strongly preferred)
