Express Flooring is a leading provider of residential and commercial flooring solutions, seeking a seasoned Appointment Setter professional to join their team. This role focuses on making outbound sales calls to homeowners, qualifying prospects, and setting in-home appointments, directly impacting revenue.


Responsibilities

  • Handle outbound sales calls with homeowners who have expressed interest in flooring and home improvement solutions
  • Qualify prospects, create urgency, and confidently set in-home appointments for our Design Consultants
  • Control the conversation, uncover needs, overcome objections, and guide customers to the next step
  • Accurately document calls, notes, and dispositions in our CRM
  • Consistently meet or exceed performance metrics, including appointment conversion rates and call quality standards
  • Represent the Express Flooring brand with professionalism, credibility, and energy on every call

Skills

  • 2+ years of inside sales, phone sales, or call-center sales experience, preferably in home improvement, services, or a consultative sales environment
  • Proven ability to close, influence, and overcome objections over the phone
  • Self-motivated and performance-driven — you don't need to be micromanaged to succeed
  • Strong communication skills with the confidence to lead conversations with homeowners
  • Comfortable working in a metrics-based sales environment with clear expectations and goals
  • Tech-savvy with experience using CRMs and sales tools
  • Reliable, professional, and consistent in attendance and performance
  • High-speed internet and a quiet, distraction-free home office
  • Ability to work scheduled shifts and maintain focus throughout the day
