CareCentrix is seeking a Lead Engineer – Network who will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and managing the company's data networking infrastructure. This individual will guide a team of network engineers, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security while driving innovation in network technologies to support organizational objectives.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the overall data networking architecture, ensuring it aligns with the organization's goals and future growth
  • Plan and implement network upgrades and expansions, keeping abreast of emerging technologies
  • Oversee the day-to-day operation of the data networking infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers
  • Monitor network performance and ensure optimal uptime, troubleshooting and resolving issues promptly
  • Implement and enforce network security policies and procedures to protect sensitive data and maintain compliance with relevant regulations
  • Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments
  • Evaluate network capacity and bandwidth requirements, planning for future growth and scaling as needed
  • Optimize network performance and efficiency
  • Maintain comprehensive network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and SOPs
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies related to data networking
  • Identify opportunities for technology improvements and make recommendations for implementation

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Professional certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent
  • 10+ years' experience in data networking design, implementation, and management
  • Minimum 5 years' hands-on experience with Palo Alto NGFW and F5 LTM/ASM
  • Strong knowledge of networking concepts and protocols including but not limited to: Local and Wide area networks (Cisco, MPLS, DMVPN GRE), Global and Local Load Balancers (F5/Cisco), ISP/Co-Location Providers, Web Application Firewalls, F5 and Imperva a plus, Network security (Cisco, Palo Alto, ClearPass), DNS infrastructure, Monitoring tools: Riverbed, Solarwinds, Splunk, Ganglia
  • Superior problem-resolution skills
  • Routing protocols: BGP, EIGRP, OSPF
  • In-depth knowledge of network best practices and network security
  • Mentorship and leadership skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
