Remote Marketing Lead (HubSpot, Social, Video, Analytics)

Part-Time (25–30 hrs/week) | Long-Term | Independent Contractor | Pacific Time Overlap Required

About the Role

We are a law firm operating in Business Law and Equine / Equestrian Law and are hiring a Remote Marketing Lead to own our marketing strategy and full execution.

This is a hands-on ownership role. You will be the sole marketing lead, responsible for planning, execution, tracking, systems, and performance.

This role is intentionally scoped for focused, high-impact work, not 40-hour seat time.

This is not a VA, coordinator, or strategy-only role.

What You Will Own (Strategy + Execution)

You will personally execute all of the following:

Marketing Strategy & Planning

•Own firm-wide marketing strategy and execution alignment

• Work directly with the Owner (attorney) to establish goals, priorities, and success metrics

• Translate business objectives into campaigns, funnels, content, and tracking systems

• Continuously evaluate results and adjust execution based on performance data

Email Marketing (HubSpot)

• Create, draft, format, test, schedule, and send the firm’s monthly newsletter and marketing emails using HubSpot

• Maintain, clean, segment, and update HubSpot contact and email lists

• Ensure email compliance, deliverability, and data accuracy

• Track email campaign performance and incorporate results into ongoing execution

Social Media Content & Engagement

• Create and post social media content across firm platforms

• Monitor Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn comments regularly

• Respond to or escalate engagement as appropriate

• Use engagement insights to refine posting cadence and content direction

Video & YouTube Content

• Manage existing YouTube videos and deploy them in marketing to potential clients

• Edit videos recorded by the Owner

• Assist the Owner with video content planning and preparation

• Write scripts and turn recorded videos into reels

• Repurpose video content across email, social media, and campaign workflows

Campaigns & Promotions

• Plan and execute campaign-based marketing initiatives

• Coordinate messaging, assets, timelines, and execution

• Track campaign activity and performance from launch through follow-up

CRM, Contacts & Lead Management (HubSpot + Clio)

• Create and update contact records in HubSpot and Clio

• Manage and track leads in HubSpot and internal Google spreadsheets

• Update custom fields to track matter status accurately

• Update matter status in the firm’s CRM weekly

• Maintain confidential files, meeting notes, and contact information in compliance with firm policies

Reporting, Analytics & Manual Tracking

• Update and monitor the daily Google marketing tracking spreadsheet

• Track current ad campaigns using Google Analytics

• Track and analyze call data using CallRail

• Track and compile data from all marketing campaigns

• Complete and maintain the internal marketing “deep dive” spreadsheet

• Prepare and email a weekly Friday marketing summary to the Owner

Vendor Coordination, Process & Communication

• Correspond directly with marketing vendors as requested

• Track vendor deliverables and follow up on action items

• Translate vendor activity into internal reporting and documentation

• Document marketing processes and workflows

• Perform marketing research and maintain associated databases as needed

• Communicate directly with the Owner via Slack, email, and phone

• Track and enter time accurately for any matter-related work

Required Experience (Non-Negotiable)

Please do not apply unless you meet all of the following:

• Available 25–30 hours per week, long-term

• Independent contractor

• Daily overlap with U.S. Pacific Time

• Proven ownership of both marketing strategy and hands-on execution

• Direct, hands-on HubSpot experience (email campaigns, lists, tracking)

• Execution experience managing:

o Facebook business pages

o Instagram business pages

o LinkedIn company pages

o YouTube channels

• Comfortable with manual spreadsheet tracking and reporting

• Regular, real-world use of AI tools in daily marketing workflows

• Experience with law firms or regulated professional services

• Strong written English

• Comfortable working directly with attorney

This Role Is Not a Fit If:

• You are a VA, assistant, or coordinator

• You only support a strategist

• You delegate execution instead of performing it yourself

• You are seeking part-time “side work” with multiple clients

• You cannot maintain Pacific Time overlap

Compensation & Hours

• $18–$25/hour, depending on experience and execution strength

• 25–30 hours per week

• Long-term engagement for the right person

This role is scoped for focused ownership, not time padding.

Please include all of the following:

1. A brief summary of your hands-on marketing ownership experience

2. Specific examples of HubSpot campaigns you personally executed

3. Platforms you personally managed (not supervised)
