The Elite Job is seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Remote Medical Transcriptionist / Medical Scribe to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities

  • Transcribe medical reports, patient notes, and other healthcare documents accurately and efficiently.
  • Assist healthcare providers in documenting patient encounters, ensuring all relevant information is captured.
  • Review and edit transcriptions for accuracy, grammar, punctuation, and medical terminology.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations and standards at all times.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to clarify and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Stay updated on medical terminology, practices, and technology to enhance transcription quality.
  • Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems and transcription software effectively.
  • Manage and prioritize workload to meet deadlines and ensure timely delivery of transcripts.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a medical transcriptionist or medical scribe is preferred.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy, and healthcare practices.
  • Strong typing skills with a minimum typing speed of 60 words per minute.
  • Excellent command of the English language, including grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
  • Proficient in using transcription software, word processing applications, and EHR systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Effective communication skills to liaise with healthcare professionals and clarify information as needed.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Experience

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in medical transcription, medical scribing, or a related field.
