Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. OSIS is seeking a Network Engineer II to join our team and play a critical role in supporting and enhancing our network and security infrastructure. This is a 100% remote position that allows collaboration with a dynamic team supporting healthcare organizations nationwide.


Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, tune, and maintain Cisco/Fortinet networks, firewalls, and wireless systems
  • Monitor resource usage and optimize performance
  • Develop procedures to prevent and minimize outages
  • Create and maintain configuration and support documentation
  • Provide professional technical assistance to staff, administrators, vendors, and service providers
  • Resolve escalated help desk requests
  • Participate in on-call rotations
  • Manage projects and program components to meet organizational objectives
  • Administer systems and servers to ensure service availability
  • Maintain multi-site network operations across private and public facilities

Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in an IT Enterprise environment
  • Strong knowledge of routing/switching and firewall configuration
  • Expertise in spanning tree protocol, OSPF, IPSEC, and SSL VPNs
  • Experience with network configuration and monitoring
  • Bachelor's degree in IT or related field
  • Knowledge of Microsoft AD network integration for authentication
  • 3+ years of experience with routing/switching and firewall configuration
  • 1+ years of healthcare industry experience
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco ASA and Fortinet security hardware
  • Experience building and maintaining IPSEC and SSL VPN connections
  • Knowledge of switching, dynamic routing, VRFs, Nexus, MPLS, Point-to-Point Circuits, IP-SLA, and network/data security
  • CCNA certification a plus
  • Experience working with non-profits or healthcare organizations
