Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. GE Vernova is a technology provider collaborating with main contractors on site. The Project Site Coordinator will work with the KAPES team to monitor engineering quality and resolve issues related to equipment delivery and project execution in Korea.


Responsibilities

  • Ensure safe work (EHS) for himself and GEV staff on site and support site issues
  • Ensure coordination with KAPES on on-going site actions linked with GEV
  • Manage deliveries (and related interface documents) of GEV equipment to KAPES
  • Coordination of RFIs, NCRs, as-built and others relevant processes (RFI : Request for Information, NCR : Non-Conformance Report)
  • Drive coordination between KAPES/KEPCO and GEV regarding all site matters
  • Drive GE’s problem resolution, animate GEV community to support KAPES
  • Ensure alignment of expectation between project team and customers
  • Assist/support project material inspection such as check-list readiness, missing & faulty material follow-up, preparing report if required
  • Attend regular meeting to keep informed site progress and report if required
  • Support/coordinate GEV’s supervisors such as work permission (incl. EHS) and site work
  • Proactive problem resolution
  • Immediate reactivity to customer request linked with site
  • Ensure compliance with law & regulations, EHS guidance in order to protect GE and own safety

Skills

  • Fluent in English and Korean
  • Experiences of construction activities
  • Engineering degree
  • Basic skill of MS word, excel, ppt
  • Basic skill of IT devices
  • Knowledge of HVDC is a plus
  • Quality management experience
  • System project and/or large project site experience
