<p><strong>Senior Accounting Manager - Remote (EST Time Zone) - FinTech</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p>Our team is working with a leading CRM platform designed for financial advisors looking to hire a Senior Accounting Manager for their growing team. The role centers on leading the end-to-end monthly close process to achieve a 5-7 day cycle, ensuring ASC 606-compliant revenue recognition for subscription contracts, preparing financial statements, management reports, and board materials, and conducting precise account reconciliations with variance analysis in partnership with FP&A. It also involves optimizing the accounting tech stack (Rillet, Stripe, Brex), documenting policies, controls, and SOPs, and overseeing AP/AR workflows to build scalable infrastructure for growth. Additionally, the position requires collaborating with leadership on audits, investor reporting, and strategic initiatives, acting as a thought partner to challenge assumptions, and working cross-functionally with Finance, People Ops, and other teams to align accounting with business operations and enhance decision-making.<br><br>  </p><p><strong>This role is a full-time remote within the EST Time zone that will offer up to 170K for total compensation & excellent benefits. If you are interested in this opportunity, please reach out to Vincenzo Kulturides directly at vkulturides@daleyaa.com</strong></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Own the end-to-end monthly close process and drive continuous improvement toward a 5-day close cycle</p></li><li><p>Own revenue recognition processes and ensure ASC 606 compliance across monthly, annual, and multi-year subscription contracts</p></li><li><p>Prepare accurate, timely financial statements, management reports, and board materials</p></li><li><p>Lead account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies with precision and urgency</p></li><li><p>Partner with FP&A on variance analysis and deliver actionable insights to leadership</p></li><li><p>Optimize our accounting tech stack (Rillet, Stripe, Brex) to drive efficiency and automation</p></li><li><p>Establish and document accounting policies, controls, and standard operating procedures</p></li><li><p>Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable workflows</p></li><li><p>Build scalable processes and infrastructure that support rapid company growth</p></li><li><p>Partner closely with leadership on audit preparation, investor reporting, and strategic finance initiatives</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Finance, People Ops, and other departments to align accounting practices with business operations, support strategic decision-making, and improve financial processes and controls</p></li></ul><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li><p>5-7+ years of accounting experience in public accounting (Big 4/regional firm) or in-house at a high-growth company; SaaS experience preferred</p></li><li><p>CPA strongly preferred</p></li><li><p>Deep expertise in revenue recognition (ASC 606) with hands-on experience implementing and optimizing rev rec processes</p></li><li><p>Experience with modern ERP systems (Rillet, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, or similar), billing platforms (Stripe), and expense management systems (Brex, Ramp)</p></li><li><p>Systems-savvy with a strong bias toward automation and using AI/technology to drive efficiency<br><br></p></li></ul>
