Responsibilities

  • Dirigir la industrialización y preparación de los proveedores para todos los productos básicos
  • Respaldar la selección de proveedores y la evaluación de capacidades para proyectos de terreno no urbanizado (nueva planta) y terreno urbanizado (expansión de planta existente), asegurando la alineación con los plazos del programa y las expectativas de calidad
  • Impulsar la disciplina de APQP y hacer cumplir los requisitos de PPAP, garantizando que los proveedores cumplan con la validación dimensional, de materiales y de desempeño antes de la aprobación para producción
  • Desarrollar y rastrear los KPI de proyectos de industrialización, incluida la aprobación puntual del PPAP, la capacidad del proceso (Cpk/Ppk), el rendimiento de primera pasada y los objetivos del PPM para medir la preparación del proveedor
  • Evaluar y validar los procesos de fabricación de proveedores dirigiendo auditorías de procesos, revisiones de PFMEA, validación del plan de control y evaluaciones de capacidad de equipos/evaluaciones de velocidad de producción
  • Optimizar la escalabilidad de fabricación del proveedor, garantizando que las líneas de producción sean capaces de cumplir con las expectativas de volumen y calidad en aumento durante las fases de expansión
  • Monitorear el desempeño de la industrialización del proveedor a través de KPI como presentación puntual del PPAP, índices de capacidad de proceso (Cpk/Ppk), tasas de defectos (PPM), tasa de cierre de problemas y efectividad de las medidas correctivas del proveedor
  • Facilitar la resolución de problemas utilizando metodologías estructuradas (resolución de problemas enfocada) para abordar defectos, desviaciones de procesos y obstáculos de lanzamiento de manera proactiva
  • Colaborar de manera interfuncional con los equipos de Ingeniería, Calidad y Cadena de Suministros para impulsar la optimización de costos de VA/VE, garantizando una implementación de diseño sin problemas en los procesos y la tecnología de fabricación de proveedores y, al mismo tiempo, manteniendo los estándares de calidad y desempeño
  • Requiere hasta un 50 % de viaje

Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or other related field
  • 3-5+ years supplier quality engineering experience
  • Strong Knowledge of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA)
  • Technical expertise of automotive components designs and manufacturing, including knowledge of safety and test requirements and appearance approval process
  • Knowledge of Geometric Design and Tolerancing (GD&T) and datum structures
  • Experience in Extrusion and fabrication commodities
  • In depth knowledge of IATF16949:2016 and understanding of ISO14001
  • Masters Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or other related fields
  • Ability to work in a diverse and dynamic environment
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills (Team Working) as well as negotiation skills
  • Ability to analyze and present data effectively
