Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Peraton is a next-generation national security company that drives missions of consequence spanning the globe. They are seeking a Software Developer to contribute skills needed for ongoing projects, focusing on both frontend and backend support of data analysis and web development.


Responsibilities

  • Contribute skills needed to ongoing projects for both frontend and backend support of data analysis
  • Complete web development and modify existing web interfaces
  • Contribute to the development and writing of technical documentation of how methods were developed
  • Work closely with customers to ensure requirements are met
  • Ensure 508 compliance of applications through testing, collaboration with accessibility experts, and remediation of issues
  • Collaborate with internal and external subject matter experts and staff to establish back-end frameworks to process content and data to provide end point products
  • Provide recommendations that reflect clear knowledge and application of current design and development subject matter
  • Maintain a high level of customer service that is prompt, responsive, courteous, and comprehensive
  • Maintain working relationships that facilitate the positive outcome of program activities

Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 5 years' experience or 9 years with a HS diploma
  • Experience in website and web application design, development and maintenance
  • 5 years of experience using web technologies including HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Objective-C, native iOS, native Android, React native, RxSwift, and MacCatalyst
  • 5 years of SQL experience (including Procedures, Triggers, Packages development), HTML5 / CSS3 / Accessible Design (Section 508) / Responsive Web Design (Bootstrap) experience
  • Proficiency in website and web application development and maintenance
  • Works effectively in an environment that supports teamwork, cooperation, and trust, along with the ability to work independently
  • Manages complex responsibilities well in a demanding and fast paced work environment and adapts well to quickly changing priorities
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the Agency clearance
  • Active Public Trust is a plus
