The role involves designing, building, and delivering impactful automation solutions for clients worldwide, while providing technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers.


Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement Appian-based solutions that meet business and technical requirements
  • Lead the end-to-end Appian project lifecycle, including design sessions, architecture planning, development, testing, deployment, and support
  • Collaborate closely with business analysts, architects, and project managers to translate business needs into technical solutions
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers and guide best practices in Appian design and development
  • Integrate Appian applications with external systems using web services, APIs, and databases
  • Optimize and troubleshoot existing Appian applications to improve performance and user experience
  • Ensure adherence to Appian design standards, security guidelines, and compliance frameworks
  • Stay current with Appian platform updates and continuously identify opportunities for innovation and improvement

Skills

  • 3–6+ years of hands-on experience developing solutions on the Appian Low-code Platform
  • Strong understanding of Appian objects (records, reports, interfaces, process models, CDTs, constants, and rules)
  • Experience with Appian Plug-ins, Appian Sites, and Sail UI design
  • Proficiency in SQL, XML, and web service integration
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Certified Appian Level 2 (Senior) or Level 3 (Lead) Developer (preferred)
  • Experience with integration tools, AWS/Azure, or other low-code platforms
  • Prior consulting or client-facing experience
