The Sr. Director is responsible for managing a team of sellers supporting issuer payment processing services, developing talent, and executing strategic direction to exceed targets.


Responsibilities

  • Lead Team to Success: You will develop a sales strategy that provides direction for the team to execute on quarterly and annual targets
  • Negotiate Contracts: You'll collaborate with your team to negotiate contracts with financial institutions to help them use our payment processing services
  • Obsess about Customers: You'll ensure that the team is up to speed on all Visa has to offer to proactively pitch compelling solution sets that will help your clients maximize their payment portfolios
  • Drive Innovation into the Market: You'll play a key role in influencing marketing and product development initiatives based on your market intelligence. The leader will also be responsible for launching new products in your territory
  • Lead Courageously: You’ll use your expertise to contribute to the development of the overall functional strategy & annual goals and coach & mentor your team to lift the performance of the entire VAS organization

Skills

  • 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 10 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA /JD/MD), or a minimum of 5 years of work experience with a PhD
  • 15 or more years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 12 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, or MD), PhD with 9+ years of experience
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and driving growth
  • Prior track record in leading/ managing a high performing team
  • You have expert ability to develop and nurture new business partnerships
  • Proven strength in building trust with senior executives within client organizations
  • Expertise in negotiating business agreements, with a strong understanding of financial controls and the legal aspects of contract management
  • Exceptional skills in proactively building strong internal and cross-functional relationships
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time
