As a Staff Engineer on the Enterprise Tools team, you will lead the engineering, optimization, and scaling of CI/CD and automation platforms, ensuring systems are secure, resilient, and aligned with organizational goals.


Responsibilities

  • Engineer, configure, and maintain enterprise tools including Ansible Automation Platform, GitHub, Jenkins, SonarQube, JFrog, Tosca, and K2View
  • Design and enhance CI/CD pipelines to improve development velocity and reduce manual effort
  • Partner with DevOps, Security, and development teams to understand automation needs and deliver scalable solutions
  • Implement best practices in version control, testing, deployment, and security automation
  • Analyze system performance, identify bottlenecks, and drive improvements across infrastructure and applications
  • Stay current with Red Hat, DevSecOps, automation, and cloud technologies to guide platform strategy and evolution
  • Mentor engineers, influence technical direction, and contribute to an environment of operational excellence

Skills

  • 5–8+ years of engineering experience supporting automation, DevSecOps, or enterprise tools
  • Demonstrated ability to design and support automation and monitoring solutions across hybrid environments (cloud + on‑prem)
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to quickly diagnose performance, configuration, and system issues
  • Experience leading technical initiatives and mentoring junior team members
  • Advanced experience with Ansible Automation Platform and infrastructure‑as‑code practices
  • Hands‑on experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions; experience with Jenkins or Azure DevOps is a plus
  • Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles, including integrating security checks, policy‑as‑code, and compliance automation
  • Proficiency with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation and integrations
  • Experience administering enterprise DevSecOps tools: GitHub, Jenkins, SonarQube, Artifactory/JFrog
  • Experience supporting Tricentis Tosca components (Commander, Server, DEX)
  • Experience administering K2View Data Product Platform, including Data Fabric and TDM Portal
  • Familiarity with modern application architectures including microservices, containers (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud services (Azure preferred; AWS/GCP beneficial)
  • Experience with Red Hat Linux as a core engineering environment
  • Ability to analyze KPIs, logs, and performance data to identify trends and root causes
  • Strong knowledge of SOX and PCI controls
  • Understanding of secure automation, identity management, secrets, and compliance frameworks
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with experience supporting multi‑geo, enterprise‑scale environments
  • Passion for problem‑solving, continuous improvement, and building solutions that scale
  • Enterprise-level administration experience with Artemis, Jenkins, SonarQube, JFrog, GitHub, Ansible, Tosca, and K2View
  • Hands-on experience with container orchestration and cloud-native engineering
  • Certifications in Red Hat, Azure, or DevOps tooling
  • Experience integrating automation solutions with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
