The Technical Lead – Adobe Target will drive personalization, segmentation, and testing strategies across digital platforms, acting as both a hands-on practitioner and a strategic architect to enhance customer experiences.


Responsibilities

  • Define the Adobe Target personalization roadmap aligned with business goals and customer journey objectives
  • Act as the subject matter expert on Adobe Target, setting standards for experimentation, audience targeting, and personalization best practices
  • Partner with Marketing, Product, and IT to ensure seamless integration with Adobe Experience Cloud, Real-Time CDP, Analytics, AEM, and custom e-commerce platforms
  • Build, configure, and manage A/B, multivariate, and automated personalization activities with statistical rigor
  • Design and implement integrations between Adobe Target and custom e-commerce platforms to enable server-side personalization, API-driven activities, and real-time decisioning
  • Create, refine, and activate advanced audience segments leveraging customer behavior, profiles, and predictive models across web, mobile, and omnichannel touchpoints
  • Define success metrics and KPIs for testing and personalization initiatives
  • Translate test results into actionable insights that inform product, marketing, and customer experience strategies
  • Share learnings and embed a test-and-learn culture across cross-functional teams to continuously optimize personalization programs
  • Mentor junior team members and upskill colleagues in experimentation and personalization practices
  • Collaborate with external partners, vendors, and agencies to extend the reach and impact of Adobe Target initiatives
  • Contribute to governance frameworks that ensure scalability, compliance, and consistency in personalization execution

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, CIS, or equivalent professional experience
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Adobe Target in an enterprise environment
  • Proven track record in segmentation, multivariate testing, and personalization at scale
  • Strong technical understanding of Adobe Experience Cloud ecosystem (Analytics, AEP/RT-CDP, and integrations)
  • Ability to design and execute advanced testing methodologies (multivariate, holdout groups, personalization algorithms)
  • Solid grasp of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to support hands-on execution
  • Analytical mindset with experience using statistical methods to evaluate test results
  • Excellent communication skills, able to translate complex concepts into actionable insights for both technical and business audiences
  • Experience in retail, beauty, or consumer goods preferred
