  • Review all documentation (project plan & estimates) and establish all stakeholders and project team members in preparation for project kick-off meeting.
  • Maintain all documentation on the company's SharePoint site, update contents throughout Project Lifecycle from project development through project closeout.
  • Coordinate with the company resources including Planning, Distribution, Engineering, Protection & Controls, Environmental, Telecom, Real Estate/ROW, Operations, Construction, and other stakeholders to develop and execute project scoping.
  • Schedule and conduct all required meetings for assigned projects, such as kick off meetings, functional scope development meetings, detailed scoping meetings, schedule update meetings, and financial meetings.
  • Schedule and lead project scoping site visits with key stakeholders and company escorts, as required.
  • Coordinate with engineering on identification of long lead material(s) to assess lead times and facilitate ordering to align with the proposed project schedule.
  • Coordinate scheduling/control resources to perform necessary schedule updates at company defined intervals. Project Manager is accountable for accuracy of their assigned project schedules.
  • Collect information to progress estimates throughout the project life cycle with firm costs and provide monthly forecasting responsibilities for their portfolio of projects.
  • Produce meeting minutes as applicable and distribute to stakeholders and record within the company's defined system. Follow up on open items to ensure each item is worked to closure.
  • Complete all required project reviews and obtain project approvals, including standards exceptions and financial authorization, at defined project checkpoints, per the company's process and procedures.
  • Create and maintain a risk register to define project risks, including long lead materials, procurement risks, or other potential risks that could impact the successful completion of the project. Define and follow the risk mitigation process for all defined project risks.
  • Create Baseline packages and conduct baseline meetings, obtain approvals, and coordinate updates to schedules, budgets, and scope, as necessary. Ensure stakeholder agreement with the scope, schedule, and budget. Schedule Project Status Meetings as appropriate and update documentation on company's SharePoint site
  • Complete all assigned projects by following the Owner's project closeout process. Complete project closeout tasks, such as closing Work Orders, reconciling contracts and customer billings, generating final reports, and loading documents into the project portal.
  • Perform other tasks/projects, as requested, for the definition, creation and support of Project Management strategies, processes, procedures, and standards.
  • Provide project status reports, as requested, to communicate project activities and status.
