No matter your role, you will be part of a team that is building the future of agriculture - leading breakthroughs in the innovation and application of science and technology that will better the lives of people all over the world and fuel the progress of humankind.<br><br>Come join our team in the role of <b>Retail Territory Manager covering the Saskatchewan area.</b> Retail Territory Managers are responsible for sales, profitability, market share and business support of Corteva Agriscience products to our retailer customers, and for driving short and long-term growth within a defined sales territory.<br><br><b>What You'll Do:</b><br><ul><li>Retail Territory Managers are responsible for sales, market share and business support of Corteva Agriscience products to our retailer customers</li><li>Retail Territory Managers are responsible for driving growth and profitability within the customer's overall business. </li><li>As part of the Corteva Agriscience Sales Team, promote Corteva' s new technologies and future crop protection and seed pipeline through selected retail business partners</li><li>Establish sound business relationships by consistently delivering professional, quality service </li><li>Responsible for achieving sales targets and effectively managing budgets and resources </li><li>Responsible for working with selected retails to develop business plans that support the overall growth of the retails business</li><li>Identify and understand problems and opportunities and use effective approaches for developing solutions to increase customer's willingness to recommend Corteva products </li><li>Develop and implement business plans with the retail accounts that drive growth and profitability</li><li>Work with customers to identify market opportunities and implement tactics to create demand at retail outlets</li><li>Assist in the development, communication and implementation of retail programs </li><li>Participate in product demand planning and forecasting processes </li><li>Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of products, logistics, ordering patterns and volumes to fulfill customer requirements </li><li>Be alert to regulatory and environmental issues, and provide proper attention to product stewardship</li></ul><br><br>This is a remote position and can be based anywhere in this territory. If hired, you may be required to travel as necessary to support business activities.<br><br><b>Education: </b><br><ul><li>Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent, in Agronomy, Business, or Marketing required. Will consider other degrees with related field sales experience.</li><li>At least 5 years sales experience, managing and coaching individuals </li></ul><br><br><b>What Skills You Need:</b><br><ul><li>Strong interpersonal skills and professional approach to building customer relationships </li><li>Strong value selling, planning, strategy and negotiation skills required </li><li>Can establish priorities to effectively manage responsibilities and workload </li><li>Knowledge of crop protection and seed business is required </li><li>Ability to analyze sales and market share data to identify market opportunities and identify potential solutions </li><li>Understanding of basic business planning and financial skills</li><li>Ability to work independently and cohesively in a team environment </li><li>Self-starter, energetic, positive thinker/attitude </li><li>Strong planning, communication and presentation skills </li><li>Computer skills including Excel, Word and PowerPoint </li><li>Extensive rural travel is required </li><li>International relocation not offered for this position </li></ul><br>#LI-Remote
