About the position

The Revenue Activation Specialist will be a key role at MoneyGram, focused on implementing and optimizing strategies to drive revenue growth. As a Revenue Activation Specialist, you will be involved in the execution of revenue-generating initiatives and the activation of opportunities that can directly impact an organization's financial performance. A Revenue Activation Specialist works closely with various teams like sales, marketing, customer success, and finance to activate revenue strategies that lead to tangible business results.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with product, strategic operations, etc. to contribute requirements based on regional/market needs and communicate and implement new services.
  • Liaise between product and strategic operations and downstream partners.
  • Create thorough and robust go-to-market strategy to drive business growth, ensuring stakeholders across the organization are prepared for and understand the new product, service, or change.
  • Partner with communications to establish communication plan for internal and external stakeholders, communicate product value proposition to the sales channel and develop the sales tools and collaterals that support the selling process of the product.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with internal stakeholders such as product, compliance, finance, marketing, sales, org. readiness, etc. to communicate and implement new services.
  • Schedule and host project kick off, playbook reviews, and status updates following the standard go-to-market process.
  • Work closely with the integration and sales teams to identify opportunities for POE changes and deployment of all product functionalities and act as subject matter expert (SME) for all Operational matters.
  • Support sales with cross departmental issues, AD, Investigations, complex set-ups and onboardings, exclusivity, audit, roll outs, currency conversion, network activation, MFA, Cyber Fraud, call center language changes/technical support, tax changes, Additional Data Field compliance requirements, PAPA rules, policy changes, forms/receipts content changes, etc.
  • Ensure accurate and optimal Data is collected at POE, work closely with the sales team on Data collection attributes to help improve Customer Experience and drive better compliance and consumer profiling strategies.
  • Ensure consistent delivery of business reporting, including holds, stops, transactional, etc.
  • Work with product team to ensure deployment, unification and use of Salesforce as a sales and CRM tool for all agents related services and communication.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in related field preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years' experience in a field sales role with global knowledge of remittance industry.
  • Knowledge/experience gained within financial services.
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics and partner needs.
  • Solid project management skills including planning work, managing details, keeping multiple tasks/projects on track, and navigating ambiguity to deliver results.
  • Experience building onboarding and enablement plans in a successful, high growth environment with demonstrable impact.
  • Demonstrated experience and ability to work across Sales, Marketing, and Product to create a culture of alignment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to build and maintain credible relationships in person and over the phone with internal stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the capability to set and manage priorities and ability to follow through.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain procedures and processes to internal or external customers as well as team members effectively.
  • Ability to handle sensitive data with professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Keeps abreast of current changes in technology, processes, and standards within area(s) of responsibility.
